Seaberg, MD, Dean, teaching in the Emergency DepartmentThe University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga is part of a statewide network of medical education.  The other two campuses are located in Memphis and Knoxville.  Our campus is located in the scenic city of the South -- Chattanooga, Tennessee.  The main medical school campus is in Memphis.  The UT College of Medicine Chattanooga is led by a full time Dean, David C. Seaberg, MD, CPE, FACEP, who reports to the Executive Dean of the Statewide College of Medicine, Steve Schwab, MD.  (Photo is of our new Dean, Dr. Seaberg, teaching one of the Transitional Year residents in the Emergency Department.)

In June 2006, the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) awarded the institution (the UT College of Medicine Chattanooga) "Continued Accreditation Status."  The institution was commended in our efforts to meet accreditation standards of excellence and received the longest accreditation cycle possible -- five years until the next institutional site visit.

The UT College of Medicine Chattanooga provides quality, accredited medical education and also offers a unique blend of quality lifestyle with the required educational components.  We think you'll find the value of personal time, quality of life, and camaraderie ... "priceless."
