Aerial view of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga and the Erlanger Baroness Campus of the Erlanger Health SystemAccreditation News:  2/25/2008 - The ACGME Emergency Medicine Residency Review Committee has approved a new Emergency Medicine Residency for the UT College of Medicine Chattanooga.  The first residents (6 at the PGY-1 level) will begin training on July 1, 2008.

Applicants for the July 2009 class should apply via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  Applicants must complete the ERAS application, and the ERAS packet should include USMLE scores and dates taken, Dean's letter, two additional letters of recommendation, and a personal statement.  Applicants ranked in the 2009 Match must have passed USMLE Steps 1 and 2.
