Healthcare Principles in Practice

This faculty & resident development series is hosted by the Dean's Office at the UTCOM.

 

Overview: Sessions focus on topics related to the following General Competency areas: practice-based learning and improvement; interpersonal and communication skills; professionalism; and systems-based practice. Specific topics include medical ethics, clinical quality improvement, end-of-life care, malpractice, impaired physicians, organized medicine, sleep and fatigue education, patient interviewing skills, and teaching skills. All 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year residents & fellows are required to attend, and faculty members & medical students are encouraged to attend.

 

All sessions take place from 12:00-1:00pm on the second Tuesday of every month in the Probasco auditorium at the Erlanger Baroness Campus, except where noted otherwise.
