Online Handbooks are meant to provide answers to most administrative and procedural questions you might have, e.g.:

  • What is the name of the resident health insurance company and what is the phone number?

New residents aren't the only ones needing the oline GME Policies Handbook.  Returning Residents amd Fellows as well as Chairs, Program Directors, and administrative program staff also utilize the sections of the online GME Policies Handbooks.  As policies and procedures are changed, added, or deleted, the changes are reflected almost immediately in the online links.  Questions about institutional policies and procedures should be addressed with the Graduate Medical Education Office at (423) 778-7442 or via email to GME@erlanger.org.

As always, we are honored to be part of such outstanding institutions as the UT College of Medicine Chattanooga and Erlanger Health System, including the Erlanger Baroness Campus as well as T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.  The Graduate Medical Education Office is proud to have even a small role in your medical education.  We look forward to working with each of you and getting to know you better during the next academic year.

Remember ... "Be careful out there!"
