When it comes to personal appearance, particularly our faces, Plastic Surgeon Larry Sargent has a special perspective. As the founder of nationally-recognized The Tennessee Craniofacial Center, he has reconstructed the faces of hundreds of patients from nearly every state in America and many foreign countries who have at least one thing in common: serious facial injuries or deformities. Not all his cases involve facial trauma or birth defects, though. Dr. Sargent performs a full range of cosmetic surgery to bring out his patients' personal best.
"Plastic surgery is at its best a unique blend of artistic creativity and technical skill," he believes, and he applies those skills to rebuild the looks and lives of people, ranging from infants to senior citizens. In addition to his practice with The Plastic Surgery Group, Dr. Sargent serves as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga.
